On October 4, 2018, the MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy Distinguished Speaker Series, the MIT Department of Economics, the Sloan Finance and Policy Club, and the Undergraduate Economics Association hosted a public lunchtime lecture and Q&A with Mervyn King, Lord King of Lothbury, KG, GBE, FBA.

Mervyn King served as Governor of the Bank of England and Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee and Financial Policy Committee from 2003 to June 2013.

He is the Alan Greenspan Professor of Economics and Professor of Law at New York University and School Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics.
